Brendon Note: In 'Hawk' was the conception of
"Preacher and Co" as I gazed down at my 'half-brother' in the movie.
In that moment it occurred to me that a film reflecting the 'brotherhood
of man under the Fatherhood of God' would be a worthy ministry to pursue.
Following the example of the circuit-rider preacher of Methodism's John Wesley,
I would have my 'Preacher' adopt a little black boy named 'Tademus Co' -
christen them "Preacher and Co" and take them on a journey of
adventures throughout post Civil War America with the ambition of entertaining,
inspiring, enriching and, hopefully, "being about my Father's
business." This, my ministry, has been over three decades in the
maturation and hopefully is on the verge of resounding around the world for the
Glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Selah and Amen
